Not decisive sexual tension, comedy and something more

There comes an entertaining and piquant Spanish comedy that is not going to mark one earlier and one later in the history of cinema but that promises to be an excellent way of spending a good moment.

The history here goes off when Juanjo (fele Martínez), a university teacher, is left by his fiancée, Celeste (Salomé Jiménez), a 30-year-old girl who has never had an orgasm, obviously, without giving him explanations …

Desperado, Junajo asks Nico (Adam Jezierski) for help one of his pupils, the most impudent, so that it should help him to recover his fiancée. Soon, Juanjo and Nico find out that Celestial it is still to fall down in the networks of Jazz (Norm Ruiz), a perfidious and manipulative writer (authoress of a titled book not decisive sexual Tension, a success of sales which adaptation to the big screen shortly will come to the movies) that has intentions enough … “lesbian“ for with Celestial.

Nico, designs a complex countermanipulation plan so that Celestial it returns with Juanjo. This plan includes several personages of the most picturesque: Edu (Joaquín Reyes), the director of the stage play ”Romeo and Julieta, year 3000 ″, an adaptation of the work of Shakespeare in which Romeo and Julieta are computing, he of the family of the PCs and she of the Mackintosh; Cardigan (Amaia Salamanca), pupil of Juanjo and partner of Nico, who melts for the teacher; Nard (Miguel Ángel Muñoz) a rocker as unpresentable as scarce of talent; and Fede (Samuel Miró), a violent employee of safety, homosexual and homófobo …

What it begins like a manipulation duel between Nico and Jazz, with Juanjo and Celestial in the way, ends with a general entanglement destined to provoke the laugh of the spectator …

Premieres publicity board on March 18, 2010

Tobey Maguire and Natalie Portman in Brothers

With the echoes of the Oscars still resounding today we bring to them a new premieres publicity board. Awards Oscars that, beyond the intrinsic values of In hostile ground, have served to reaffirm that the Academy already does not grant the distinction to the best movie or to the best director to the costliest and popular mammoth productions of an automatic way, if not that the artistic criteria nowadays have much more weight.

And the publicity board that we bring to them today is quite particular since there is no movie that really stands out for on the others, the movies of this week treat all as proposals as interesting as particular.

Interesting and individuals are the dramatic histories of Brothers (Brothers) and The foreign evil, as well as the futurist action of the thriller Eli's book or warlike red Cliff. On the other hand, the smallest also have where from to choose so The Timpelbach children or the rerun of Toy Story 2 now 3D are good options. In the Eclipse trailer Edward is seen warning to Beautiful of the classic problems of a vampire: like seeing to age and to die to the dear beings, etc., etc., In the same way, in the trailer the eternal life and his complications sees one face to face between Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson in whom the werewolf and the vampire discuss for the love of the young woman, but we already know which is going to be the decision of Beautiful …

The Writer, a movie of Roman Polanski

Ewan McGregor is The Writer

In the middle of all the polemic created by the detention of Roman Polanski and his possible extradition to the United States to be convicted for the crime recounted to having supported sexual relations with the minor one of age, happened fact, there releases The Writer (The Ghost Writer) the last work of this singular director.

The Writer is a movie that is based on the novel power in the shade of writer Robert Harris, one I happen of sales. And here the proper Harris and Polanski have collaborated to transform this book into a movie with interesting exposition for the others.

And I say interesting exposition because Ewan McGregor interpreting a writer who is contacted to stop writing the memoirs of an ancient British prime minister, called Adam Lang (interpreted by Pierce Brosnan), and the one who as it is investigating the life of this powerful politician is meeting dark secrets that if they go out to the light put in danger both his life and the stability of the diplomatic relations of the world, is undoubtedly, an attractive starting point for a movie.

The history develops in an island close to the cold east coast of the United States where the politician is lodged along with his wife, Ruth (Olivia Williams) and his personal assistant (and for his position his lover) Amelia (Kim Cattrall).

Pierce Brosnan

On having started investigating, The Writer, (who this way calls himself the McGregor personage), it discovers that the adviser of many years of Lang, Mike McAra, who had been the first one to whom there had been entrusted the task of writing the Lang memoirs, and who died in very suspicious circumstances, had come across with the same compromising truths, and finally it discovers that quite this information is in the manuscript that McAra left after his death, encriptada of some form in the hundreds of pages …

Finally it is necessary to say that although it should seem very easy to identify the personage of Adam Lang interpreted by Pierce Brosnan with the British ex-prime minister Tony Blair the producers of the movie, Harris and Polanski have assured that should not be they have proposed to do of this movie a personal attack to Blair if not slightly more next to a study on the power and the leaders.

Without much ado, here is the trailer.

Extraordinary measurements, with Harrison Ford

The new movie of Harrison Ford comes, although it is a question of a quite different movie inside what there are the movies of the famous actor of Indiana Jones.

Extraordinary measurements there is a drama inspired by a real history that narrates the struggle of a man, John Crowley (Brendan Fraser), which it defied to the conventional medicine and risked everything after a small hope that was allowing him to save his children of the serious illness that was threatening them.

The small hope to which there will stick John Crowley, a man who by force of work has obtained a certain success inside the managerial world, it is the one that the Doctor offers him. Robert Stonehill interpreted by Harrison Ford, a slightly conventional, eccentric and quite unsociable scientist (the most similar personage that I remind him to Ford was that inventor of The Coast of the Mosquitoes) who is next to discovering the remedy of the illness for which there is in danger the life of the children Megan and Patrick.

The challenge of John Crowley (Brendan Fraser) happens for obtaining the necessary money so that Dr. Robert Stonehill finishes his investigation and manages to meet on this remedy for his children. Different motivations move these two men in this crusade in search of funds for the investigation, the father thinks about how to save desperately his children, and the scientist to be demonstrated who knows what thing verifying that his theories are correct (over there some surprise will come in the argument).

In the way there are the big pharmaceutical companies and the establishment of the medicine that the villains of this movie seem to be. Movie to which there is tried to give the form of a typical history of cinema of Hollywood, including the final climax, with heroes and villains, nevertheless, I believe that the extract of these histories of illnesses and stoic struggles by the life seldom achieves to be captured in these tapes (that yes provoke many tears but it is not the same). The inability to transmit the sensation of the slow, slow one to pass of the time, which usually solves with scenes of the type video paper clip, it is a typical defect of this class of movies.

Without much ado, here is the trailer.

- title role of extraordinary Measurements.

How to train to your dragon

How to train to your dragon, piece of news pelcula of Dreamworks

I suppose that the animation movies can be defined as histories for children flavored with abundant pleasantries for adults. And here we have one new example of this new class of movies that for a few years to this part is summoning million spectators for the rooms of the whole world.

It talks each other of How to train to your dragon, the second incursion of Dreamworks in animation movies in 3D, a movie that, as in so many other cases, it comes from a script based on a book of best sellers, a series of books for the young public more precisely, written by Cressida Cowell.

The history develops in a fantastic ground filled with rough Vikings who are supported in perpetual battle with the wild local dragons. In contrast to other movies of his class here he is a boy, Hipo, an adolescent, that not an animal or an adult, the protagonist of the adventures. More than a young Viking, Hipo is a weak boy who wants on all the things to be a warrior, but the boy cannot clutch an axe or one throws appropriately, what does not stop exasperating the chief of the tribe who by chance is his father.

Nevertheless, the boy possesses other skills that will go out to re-shine on having met a hurt dragon and then to become his friend …

From this moment the young man begins to discover how there is the world seen from the eyes of the dragons, from which it will arise that these animals are not so bad as the adults say if not that what exists is a problem of communication between Vikings and dragons etc., etc., that is to say, a sly speech in favor of the tolerance and the diversity … and is not that I disagree with these postulates, what I say is that these speeches, as well as the medioambientalistas unproved statements, topcoat work like the suitable content, ready to there be wrapped by a big visual deployment, which wakes up a big fervor between the fresh minds of the youngest public, fervor that it transforms then into round box offices …

Without much ado, here is the trailer.

- title role of How training to your dragon.

Na'vi will be the title of the consequence of Incarnation

Na'vi will be ttulo of the Incarnation consequence

To more than three months of his premiere the movie Incarnation keeps on giving about what speaking. On the one hand, the Oscars that approach already take her since as one of the firmest candidates to remain with the principal statuettes - the awards in the titles of special effects almost are considered discounted.

On the other hand, the number of collection that has reached this movie in the whole world has come to the astronomical number for 2.545 million dollars. Other times I have said that it is a question of a number equivalent to the foreign debt of some countries, and do not believe that in other ambiences of the art, except in the music and in the big tours of the groups of rock, there manage numbers that could approach at least those of this movie.

And finally now, some rumors have come out about the Incarnation consequence. In his moment, to little of released the movie, James Cameron had said that from a beginning the idea had been conceived like an exemption and that it would be a big error to waste the whole technology designed specially for this movie in only one production. Recently, the director has gone a step further on and has declared that the title of the continuation of Incarnation might be Na'vi.

Title that would arise while it will be tried to continue with the adventures of the personage of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), although already not like human being using an incarnation (hence 2 as possible title does not mention Incarnation) if not like a na'vi already integrated to this particular society that we could see in the first movie. In the same way, Cameron has declared that the movie would focus in the way of living, in the culture and the spirituality of the inhabitants of the planet Pandora. Although also it is said over there that the history instead of Pandora develops in the plantea would do it in one of his moons, or more precisely inside one of them …

It is clear that one still does not handle a possible shooting date of commencement, but what if it seems clear it is that James Cameron, after the years that he dedicated to him to this project and later that all the doubts that patrolled to this costly cinematographic production after his premiere were cleared in favor of the producer will be who directs this second movie.

Flower of the desert, the history of Waris Dirie

Flower of the desert

A fairy tale that shuts a tragedy up is the history of Waris Dirie, a girl born in Somalia between nomadic shepherds that there became one of the most famous models of his epoch.

When he was 13 years old, Waris fled of his family that had planned a wedding for expediency for her, and after covering the desert, on foot it managed to come to Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. Then, thanks to a few relatives who were living in London he traveled to be employed there like servant at the embassy of his country.

Later it kept on working - or surviving as it could - until it was discovered while it is employed at a fast food place for the famous photographer Terry Donaldson. From there from now on he was like all the girls they dream, the advertizing agencies were polishing his image and she was conquering the footbridges of the world.

In the way of this fairy tale there was a secret that in certain moment Waris decided to do public. In an interview it revealed that being a girl he had been a victim of an ablation, a practice in which the genitals of the girls are mutilated and which today is still realized in many countries of Africa and the Moslem world.

Waris Dirie

The value that this woman had to speak on this topic, which keeps on being silenced in our culture, opened the doors for many women, and was achieved so it was happening to be a topic of agenda of different organisms of human rights.

Since then, Waris Dirie has published three books in which he narrates his history and speaks on this practice, practice on which from a beginning he is in charge of clarifying that it has not anything in common with the cultural traditions, if not that is only a cruel abuse that million girls suffer in the world. This movie can be a good way of approaching the topic.

Brothers, with Tobey Maguire

Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaa

This movie treats especially as the first important incursion of Tobey Maguire out of the personage of the Man Chandelier, the roll that has made it famous worldwide. Incursion that Natalie Portman does Tobey Maguire in the dramatic genre accompanied by the always notable one for these movies.

In this case, the brothers of the title are Sam (Tobey Maguire) and Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal, to prompt whom we will see in Prince of Persia), but curiously the not muscular at all Maguire is the one that interprets the older brother, the sure military man of and family father who sets off to a dangerous mission in Afghanistan and leaves his wife and his two girls waiting for it at home. While, Jake Gyllenhaal interprets Tommy, the younger brother, of somewhat erratic conduct although of big friendliness.

The actions break loose when Sam disappears after his helicopter is knocked down during a military operation. From there, the younger brother, Tommy will try to take charge of the situation, of the family, of the daughters and of Grace (Natalie Portman), the wife of his brother.

Naturally, the approach arises between Grace and Tommy, but the situation gives one I overturn after there reappears Sam, who had not died if not that had been a taken prisoner and tortured by the members of the army Talibán. Sam will try to occupy his place again, but he is not even the same either after the war or the things between brothers it always has solution …

Natalie Portman

In short, a strong history, and a movie led by a well-known super actor who tries not to remain classified in a roll.

Without much ado, here is the trailer.

Premieres publicity board On March 12, 2010

Matt Damon

After events in the past delivery of the awards Oscar we can agree in that the warlike movies have received a new interest, and that's why in this publicity board the movie that we must indicate as more out-standing Green Zone is: Protected district, an electrifying warlike exercise led by Matt Damon (who on Sunday lost the Oscar to better secondary actor to hands of the stranger Christoph Waltz) and directed by Paul Greengrass, both old friends of the movies of Jason Bourne.

Curiously the new movie of Harrison Ford (it appeared to the theater Kodak another night), extraordinary Measurements, in this case goes on to a background, perhaps because it is a question of a drama and not of a tape of action, or perhaps because Ford has already begun to journey his west and does not have so many call.

Finally, to emphasize the movie Flower of the desert, which presents itself as the fairy tale (based on a real history) lived by Waris Dirie, a girl born in the poverty of Somalia but who managed to triumph like model in the footbridges of the whole world. Nevertheless, Flower of the desert is also a movie that shuts a collision up to one of the cruellest abuses to which the women are submitted in the today world.

Without much ado, here the finished premieres publicity board is of March 12, 2010.

Incarnation, the big one defeated in the Oscars 2010

Incarnation of James Cameron

Last Sunday, the 7th of March Oscar carried out a new delivery of the awards during one night that had no surprises as for the ceremony in itself and to the nice performance of his presenters, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, but that amazed many people as for the principal awards that the movie took In hostile ground.

This way, she was Kathryn Bigelow, realizadora of In hostile ground whom better director had left with the award defeating his ex-husband favorite big James Cameron to remain with the award for this embodiment of the industry of Hollywood that is the movie Incarnation.

… and it defeated, against all the prognoses, his seconds again later on having announced to him that the award was not going to the best movie for the costliest movie of all the times, if not for a movie of low budget that counts a history of the war and that is not even in publicity board in many countries of the world.

Another surprise was the award to better actress who went to stop to the hands of Sandra Bullock and not to those of Meryl Streep, which perhaps did not have his best performance in the comedy Julie and Julia, although his trajectory of for itself was justifying the award, in the same way that the heartbreaking interpetacion of the debutante Gabourey Sidibe in the drama Precious also had been a better option to reward Bullock for his roll in The Blind Side.

On the other hand it did not surprise anybody, although it thrilled to many, the Oscar to better actor who was granted to Jeff Bridges by his performance in rebellious Heart, in a just roll for this 60-year-old actor with a notable movies in his credit.

In short, Incarnation, the most popular movie of all the times remained only with three awards Oscar, and the three referred to technical categories: digital effects, direction of art and cinematography; while In hostile ground she was the big winner of the night on having gained the Oscars to the best original script, better assembly, better miscellany and sound edition, in addition to the mentioned awards to better direction and better movie.

Eli's book, with Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington

The book of i or The book of the secrets is a strange example of Denzel Washington, actor who is provided in his credit with so unlike merits like the most sexy man of the world has been chosen and to have gained two awards oscar (between so much other recognition to his work) for his notable interpretations, to overturned to a typical tape of action and desolate science fiction.

It is a question of a movie where a walker of name Eli (Denzel Washington) covers, in not very distant future, a ground desolated after the final battle with the only purpose to fulfill a mission related to a mysterious book, mission on which there depends the destination of the surviving human beings and for which this warrior will not hesitate to kill the one who intervenes in his way.

Denzel Washington is an actor who has always supported in tenuous border between the most artistic of Hollywood and the commercial thing and really I do not know what attraction has found him to this history (I suppose that for any actor it is always good to lead a mammoth production), he that always chooses so well his movies (not long ago I saw again Leaves Vu and I remained astonished), that it is the typical exposition of the solitary hero who does not look for suits but who when it is defied transforms in a killer machine, which assembles all the elements of the apocalyptic movies to which one adds some esoteric element - spiritually (the mysterious book of the title is a Bible).

Eli's book

Another heavyweight completes the share-out of Eli's book, Gary Oldman, like Carnegie, the villain of the history, the cruel leader of a band of thieves and gunmen that it longs to remain with the power that shuts up the book of this mysterious walker.

Without much ado, here is the trailer.

Robert Pattinson y Kristen-Stewart

For all the fans of the saga of Twilight, and especially of Robert Pattinson (although also Taylor Lautner is waking up many admirers), there is dedicated this post in which we bring over the first scenes of Eclipse, the third delivery of the saga.

It is not for a long time that the second movie of the exemption has been released, New Moon that has repeated the success of the first one and that has consolidated Robert Pattinson like one of the most requested lady's men of the moment - for something the producers of the Awards Oscar 2010 did up to the impossible thing for doing that the young actor was present in the ceremony something that finally did not happen.

What they can see further down is a very brief fragment with a pair of scenes of Eclipse, and therefore it is possible to see we will be located again opposite to the affectionate triangle between Beautiful (Kristen Stewar), Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Edward (Robert Pattinson).

In the first scene one sees to Beautiful and to Edward in the bed and we see how the vampire says to his dear one that he knows the terrible consequences that the relation shuts up between both; while, in the second scene we see to Beautiful along with Jacob and the young man shows to the girl his eternal love on having affirmed that it will love it until his heart stops beating.

The fact is that Beautiful he will have to decide between one of his two claimants, but at the same time wolf will have to prevent the struggle for his love from without re-stimulating the ancestral clash between vampires and men. As if it was small, the lovers will have to face to malignant vampire Victoria and to his followers.

Since it is known, Eclipse, whose director is David Slade, and that finds in process of post production, talks each other of the third delivery of this saga of movies based on the novels of writer Stephenie Meyer. The Eclipse premiere is announced for the next June 30 and until now the only images that are known are those that they can see here below.

Only they and Clive Owen

Clive Owen

Only they it is a movie that tackles the topic of the familiar relations and to which we might catalog of dramatic comedy. Here Clive Owen interprets to Joe Warr, a sports journalist the one that is fine and that has a good relation with Harry, his adolescent son fruit of his first marriage. The first marriage that finished when Joe met Katy (Laura Fraser) and left everything to go away with her to Australia where now he lives with his new wife and his another son, small Artie (Nicolas McAnulty).

Joe (Clive Owen) lives of quite unconcerned form leaving that his wife deals with the child and with the responsibilities of the hearth. But the life strikes it hard when Katy dies tragically of cancer and Joe stays only in charge of Artie, his six-year-old son about whom practically he does not know anything.

Joe assumes the task of raising the child from the point of view of the bachelor in a familiar life without too many rules by which to abide not even responsibilities than to expire. And in the middle of the chaos the things are complicated more when Harry (George MacKay), another fourteen-year-old son changes with them.

Finished this Barbarian situation (Julia Blake), the mother of his deceased handcuffs and mother-in-law of Joe who will try to govern the life of the boys without success, and Laura (Emma Booth) the mother of Artie's partner to whom the desperate father resorts to ask him for advice but with whom it never stops specifying an appointment. The things will go in a lack of control crescendo in this alone boys hearth until it goes over to a point in which Joe will have to take some decision …
